The birth of a baby never ceases to amaze me!
I have been a doula since 2003. I love working with families during the miraculous
time of pregnancy and birth. I believe that our bodies are fearfully and wonderfully
made by our great Creator and that He has given a great strength to ladies for baring children.
I have supported several women over the past few years. I have been at several water
births as well as in the operating room for 2 C-sections, several non-medicated and medicated hospital births and home births. I believe that women do best when given
the option to make good decisions with good information.
I work with you from the time of your first contact with me until a couple of weeks
postpartum. I offer and visit with you at least twice before your labor begins and at
least once postpartum. In most cases, I stay with you the whole time you are in labor
and until breast feeding is established.
I help the father’s be as much as part of the birth experience as they would like to be.
I try to give pointers in how to help and support their wives in this special time.
